We operate on a straightforward 15% distribution fee on net receipts, meaning 85% of all net royalties go straight to you. There are no hidden upload fees, recurring annual per-song charges, or surprise costs just to keep your music live on streaming platforms. We only earn when your music earns.

*There is a one-time cost for music video uploads charged by our distributor. We do not add a surcharge for that service.

Distribution agreements run on a two-year term. This term length is required by our global distribution network partner, and it ensures we have adequate time to properly ingest, deliver, protect, and collect royalties on your music across 200+ worldwide platforms. It also gives our team the runway needed to properly pitch for editorials, and build long-term catalog growth for your releases.

We will require you to sign a very basic and straightforward distribution agreement before uploading any of your music.

During your 2-year term, Standout serves as your exclusive distribution partner for all new releases dropped under your artist name. This ensures we can provide consistent DSP pitching, proper metadata setup, and dedicated release support across your entire growing catalog without metadata conflicts or split delivery.

Have existing releases with another distributor or a specific side project/collaboration? You can choose to migrate your back-catalog over to Standout or keep existing releases where they are. If you have unique situation - like a featured appearance on another artist's label - we can build standard carve-outs directly into your agreement.

Access to Feature.fm is included completely free for as long as you are an active Standout distribution client. You get full access to build smart links, pre-save pages, and release landing pages without extra monthly platform fees.

If you ever decide to transition away from our distribution down the line but want to keep managing your smart links and marketing assets through our Standout Feature.fm engine, you can retain full access for a simple $15/month fee.

We need a 6 week lead time for submitting new releases. This gives DSP editors enough lead time to consider your music for official playlist placement.
